Zayniev’s breakthrough work as Chief Director of Ekiyat Puppet Theatre, inaugurating an adult repertoire. Drawing on Avzalova’s autobiography “About Myself”, the show weaves puppetry, archival recordings, live vocals and dramatic acting to trace the hardship and triumph of a musical icon.
